Sapa Tour 1 Day: Fansipan Mountain Peak by Cable Car – Sin Chai Village
8:00 – 8:15 AM: The local guide will pick you up from your hotel, and together with the driver, you’ll head towards the cable car station to begin your journey to Fansipan Mountain. The cable car in Sapa is truly remarkable, being the world’s longest and highest cable car, taking you from peaceful Sapa Town in Lao Cai Province to the breathtaking peak of 3,143-meter Fansipan Mountain, also known as Indochina’s rooftop.
The views from this highest point are simply awe-inspiring, with lush green and subtropical vegetation creating a stunning backdrop. Don’t forget to capture some unforgettable moments with your camera!
After soaking in the scenery, you’ll take the cable car back to Sapa.
Following a delightful lunch at a local restaurant, you’ll bid farewell to Sapa town and embark on a short transfer to the charming village of Sin Chai, home to the Black H’mong people.
Nestled at the foot of Fansipan Mountain, this area is adorned with rainforests and falls under the protection of Hoang Lien National Park. As you arrive at the village, you’ll begin a leisurely walk to experience the daily life and traditions of the villagers, who proudly preserve their ancestor’s way of living.
Continuing the walk, you’ll follow a dirt trail meandering through rice paddies and corn hills, accompanied by the scenic beauty of the surroundings. Along the way, you’ll cross a suspension bridge and have the opportunity to visit a local house, meeting some of the few Black H’mong families who reside here.
Eventually, you’ll return to the village center, where you’ll hop on the vehicle and be driven back to Sapa, cherishing the memories of your unforgettable tour.
