DETAILED ITINERARY:
Day 1: Hanoi – Sapa by Bus with a Short Trek to Cat Cat Village (L,D)
6:30: Our tour guide will pick you up at the bus station and depart for Sapa.
7:30 – 11:45: Following the highway to Lao Cai City with a comfortable break.
11:45- 13:00: The bus reaches Sapa Town on the hill route. On the way, you’ll see a wonderful view of the valley with terraced crops.
13:00: Arrive in Sapa Town and be welcomed with a drink and itinerary briefing. Enjoy lunch with local Vietnamese dishes and check-in procedures.
14:30: Take a short walk to the Gate of Cat Cat Village, which is the home of Black H’mong ethnic people and is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak. Our local guide will show you the daily life activities of the locals, trekking down to the valley bottom to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station, a short time for photos with the bridge and the waterfall, and then you will trek uphill to get back to Sapa with a spectacular view in the late afternoon.
The trekking distance is about 4 km and it lasts for 2 hours.
17:00: Return to Sapa Town. Have dinner and overnight at the hotel with night activities.
Day 2: Sapa with a Long Trek Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Hanoi by Bus (B,L)
7:00 – 8.00: Have breakfast at the hotel and prepare a light pack for trekking for 9 km.
8:30: Take a short drive to Y Linh Ho, then a trek through rice terraces and down Muong Hoa Stream to the Black Hmong town of Lao Chai to observe the breathtaking panorama of Hoang Lien Son Mountain before continuing on to Ta Van village, the homeland of the Day ethnic people.
12:30: Enjoy lunch a at local restaurant and The bus picks you up at Ta Van Bridge to go back to Sapa Town.
14:00 – 14.45: Relaxing in Sapa town.
15:00 PM: Meet all group members at the hotel to get ready for Hanoi.
15:30: Get on the bus back to Hanoi with two comfort breaks.
21:30: Arrive at the Bus station in Hanoi. The trip ends!
THINGS TO BRING:
- Warm clothes, scarf and hat due to the weather in Sapa being pretty unpredictable. It is normally cold in September, October, November, December, January, February and March. And due to the altitude of Sapa, it is sometimes foggy in December, January, February and March.
- Trekking shoes, sunglasses, sun cream, and insect repellent are also necessary.
