DETAILED ITINERARY:
Day 1: Hanoi – Tuan Chau Marina – Halong Bay – Surprising Cave (L,D)
8:00 – Our professional chauffeur will pick you up from your hotel by bus.
11:30 – You will arrive at Lot 26, Tuan Chau Marina – Ha Long, where our experienced tour guide will lead you on an amazing trip.
Upon arrival at Ha Long Lotus Cruise, you will be checked in and enjoy welcome drinks, while being introduced to the itinerary and safety briefing. After savouring a wonderful lunch, you will enjoy the magnificent views as the boat sails towards the southeast of Ha Long Bay, passing Dog Island, Dinh Huong islet (Incense Burner islet), and Kissing rocks – the icon of Ha Long tourism.
14:45 – You will explore the exquisite stalactites of Sung Sot Cave, one of the largest caves in Ha Long Bay, emerging to a spectacular panoramic view of the Bay.
16:30 – Visit Titov Island, where you can swim or hike to the summit for another breathtaking view of the Bay.
17:30 – Back on board and enjoy a sunset party with HAPPY HOUR – buy 2 get 1 free drink at Sky Leaf bar or join some games provided at reception.
18:30 – Participate in our traditional Vietnamese cooking lesson with our expert Chef’s direction on the sundeck (or in the restaurant in case of inclement weather) to indulge in Vietnamese gastronomy.
19:15 – enjoy a delightful dinner at the restaurant.
At 20:30, relax at the Sky Leaf Baron on the top floor, and we provide free squid fishing tools at reception. Overnight on board Ha Long Lotus Cruise.
Day 2: Ha Long Bay – Luon Cave – Hanoi (B,L)
06:45 – Start your day with a light breakfast served at the restaurant.
08:00 – Explore the Luon Cave, which attracts tourists from all over the world, owning a stiff cliff, peaceful green lake like a mirror throughout the year-long, and an impressive stalagmite system. You can take an optional 45 minutes of kayaking for a better experience.
Back on board at 09:15, enjoy freshening up before checking out and sailing toward Tuan Chau Harbor, where you will have a farewell lunch on board.
11:30 – Disembark from the cruise, and our crew will say farewell as you depart to Tuan Chau Marina by our speed boat.
Note: Due to cruising conditions, itineraries may change without prior notice. Wi-Fi is available in the restaurant/bar area, but internet connectivity is limited due to the geography of Halong/Lan Ha Bay.
12:00 – Take a Limo bus at from Tuan Chau Harbor to Ninh Binh, which takes about 3 hours.
Check in at your chosen hotel/resort.
You will have free time to explore Ninh Binh by walking or cycling and stay overnight in Tam Coc. Dinner is at your own expense.
Day 3: Hoa Lu – Tam Coc – Mua Cave – Ha Noi ( B,L)
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and get ready for an amazing day.
9:45 – Get picked up by a taxi at your stay to meet our group for the first visit which is Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam from the 10th and 11th centuries. Our guide will take you through the historic temples and relic sites of this once-great city.
11:45 – 12:45 – Time to savour a special lunch with a lot of local cuisines such as goat meat, fish, chicken, and fried rice. We cater for vegetarians as well, with delicious options always available.
13:00 – 15:00 – The highlight of our visit is the 1.5 hours bamboo boat excursion through Tam Coc, referred to as “Ha Long Bay on Land” by the Vietnamese people. You’ll be mesmerised by the lovely beauty here with paddy fields, rivers, water, clouds, sky, and a spectacular cave system.
After the boat ride, we’ll take a short rest for 45 minutes before cycling around the village to discover the life of the local people. This activity is optional; you can choose to rest at a restaurant or walk around instead.
15:30 – 16:30 – We will transport to Mua Cave (Dancing Cave) by limousine bus. Trekking for nearly 500 steps to reach the top of Lying Dragon Mountain, you will be impressed by the panoramic view of Tam Coc.
16:30 – It’s time to say goodbye and get on the bus to return to Hanoi.
We’ll drop you off at your hotel doorstep by 19:00.
