DETAILED ITINERARY:
Day 1: Hoa Lu – Trang An/Tam Coc – Mua Cave (L,D)
At 07:30, you will be greeted by our friendly tour guide and transported to Ninh Binh province via a luxurious limousine bus.
At 10:30, you will visit Hoa Lu, the former capital of Vietnam in the 10th and 11th century, where you will find well-preserved ancient temples and relics.
At 11:45, enjoy a delectable lunch featuring local cuisine such as goat meat, fish, chicken, and fried rice. We also offer vegetarian options upon request.
At 13:00, take a bamboo boat ride through Tam Coc, a stunningly scenic area that boasts three caverns accessible via the Ngo Dong River. The breathtaking views of paddy fields, water, sky, and the cave system will leave you in awe. The Vietnamese refer to this area as “Ha Long Bay on Land.” Afterward, you may opt to ride a bicycle around the village to gain insight into the lives of the locals, or relax at a nearby restaurant.
At 15:30, we will transport you to Mua Cave (Dancing Cave), where you will trek up nearly 500 steps to the top of the Lying Dragon Mountain for a panoramic view of Tam Coc. Afterward, you will be dropped off at your hotel/bungalow in Tam Coc, where you may rest after checking in.
At 19:00, you will enjoy a scrumptious dinner at the hotel/bungalow restaurant featuring local dishes. We recommend taking a bicycle or foot tour around the Tam Coc area for evening entertainment.
Day 2: Bich Dong Pagoda, Thai Vi Temple – Thung Nham Bird Valley (B,L)
Begin your day with breakfast served at the hotel/bungalow restaurant at 07:00. Check out afterward and meet with your tour guide to cycle to the Thai Vi temple and Bich Dong pagoda. The Bich Dong Pagoda is a historical and cultural relic within the Trang An Tam Coc scenic complex in Ninh Binh.
At 11:30, lunch will be served at a local restaurant offering regional foods, including goat meat, fish, chicken, and fried rice. Vegetarian options are available upon request.

It is approximately 500 meters long and offers a breathtaking view of stalactites, stalagmites, a Buddha-shaped stalactite, an underground river, and a tropical fruit plantation.
We recommend visiting the bird park in the afternoon when you can paddle leisurely around Thung Chim (Thung Nham) on a boat, where you can observe over 4,000 birds of 40 different kinds that inhabit the area daily. This is the perfect time to take stunning pictures and immerse yourself in nature.
At 16:30, we will say our goodbyes and return to Hanoi by bus. You will arrive at your hotel doorstep by 19:00.
