Ninh Binh 2D1N – Cuc Phuong national park

DETAILED ITINERARY:

Day 1: Hoa Lu and Tam Coc/ Trang An and Mua Cave (L,D)

07:30 – Our friendly tour guide will pick you up in a limousine bus for transportation to Ninh Binh province.

10:30 – You will arrive at Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10th and 11th centuries, with its many ancient temples and relic sites.

At 11:45 – You will savour a buffet lunch with an array of special local cuisines, with vegetarian options available.

13:00 – The highlight of your visit will be the bamboo boat excursion through Tam Coc, with its lovely scenery of paddy fields, river, water, cloud, sky, and a spectacular karst cavern system. If you prefer not to participate in the optional village tour, you can relax at a restaurant.

15:30 – We will head to the limousine bus and journey to Mua Cave (Dancing Cave), where you will trek for nearly 500 steps to the top of Lying Dragon Mountain and marvel at the panoramic view of Tam Coc.

17:00 – You will arrive at the hotel/bungalow in Tam Coc, check-in, and rest, and enjoy dinner with delicious local dishes served at the hotel/bungalow restaurant.

Day 2: Cuc Phuong National Park (B,L)

07:30 – Enjoy breakfast at the hotel/bungalow restaurant and check-out.

08:30 – Our bus and tour guide will pick you up to visit Cuc Phuong National Park, Vietnam’s first national park, which is the country’s largest nature reserve.

09:30 – You will first visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of endangered primates and their habitats.

12:00 – You will savour special local cuisines for lunch, with vegetarian options available.

After lunch, you will have a short trek into the national park to learn more about the fauna and flora in Vietnam’s oldest forest and visit the “Cave of Early Man” at the park center.

16:30 – It will be time to say goodbye and get on the bus to return to Hanoi.

19:00 – You will be dropped off at your hotel doorstep, concluding the tour.
