Mekong Delta – 2D1N

DETAILED ITINERARY:

Day 1: HCMC – My Tho – Ben Tre – Can Tho (L,D)

You will be picked up from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City at 7:30-8:00am and depart for My Tho.
Upon arrival, you will visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda which dates back to the late 19th century.
Next, you will board a sampan and cruise down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise islands.

Stop over at Unicorn Island, walk around the village paths to view the orchards, and enjoy tropical fruits and Vietnamese folk music performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation.
Be rowed in a small sampan through the Thoi Son canal, enjoy the beauty of the countryside, visit the family business and bee-keeping farm, and enjoy a honey tea and coconut candy workshop.
Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, you will have the option to cycle around Tan Thach village to experience the daily life of the local people in the Mekong Delta. Alternatively, you can relax on hammocks to enjoy the cool breeze.
Then, proceed to Can Tho City where you will spend the night.
Dinner will be provided at a local restaurant, and the evening is free for you to spend as you like.

Day 2: Can Tho – Cai Rang floating market – HCMC (B,L)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before taking a leisurely boat ride to explore the picturesque waters of the Lower Mekong River (Bassac River).
Visit Cai Rang Floating Market, the most vibrant floating market in the area.
Take a walking tour of the local noodle factory and visit the Munir Ansay Pagoda, a Khmer temple famous for its unique structure.

Move by boat to the Con Son tourist area, visit the fruit plantation, and enjoy seasonal fruits.
Lunch will be provided before returning to Ho Chi Minh City where you will be dropped off at your hotel doorsteps.

Pick up time is between 7:30-8:00am, and the return time is approximately 5:00pm.
