DETAILED ITINERARY:
We will start the day with a pick-up from your hotel in the center of Hue, between 8:00 and 8:30 AM. Our first activity of the day will be a serene dragon boat journey down the Huong River, where we will experience the tranquil beauty of Hue and visit the Thien Mu Pagoda – the oldest pagoda in the city.
Next, we will visit the Imperial Citadel, a complex of historic buildings that is deeply associated with the rich history of Vietnam. We will then pass by the Hue Royal Antiquities Museum to learn more about the Nguyen Dynasty and its impact on the region.
After that, we will explore the vibrant atmosphere of Dong Ba Market and indulge in some delicious local cuisines. You can also enjoy Hue tea and relax your feet in herbal water after lunch.
In the afternoon, we will visit the Royal tombs of Khai Dinh King and Minh Mang King. The Khai Dinh King’s Tomb is a unique blend of Western and Eastern architecture, while the Minh Mang King’s Tomb will impress you with the majesty and symmetry of its architectural constructions.
Finally, we will visit the Conical hat making village and the incense stick making village before returning to your hotel between 4:00 PM and 4:30 PM.
