Join us for an exceptional street food walking tour starting at 78a Tran Nhat Duat Street, in Hanoi’s Old Quarter. Explore the bustling market where street vendors offer a variety of produce, from live seafood to exotic fruits and spices. Our expert English-speaking local guide will introduce you to Vietnamese food culture, explaining ingredients and the history behind popular northern dishes.
As we wander through Hanoi’s Old Quarter, we’ll sample famed street food like Bun Cha (Obama’s favorite dish in Hanoi), Nom Bo Kho, Banh Cuon, and Vietnamese Fried Spring Rolls. Watch skilled chefs prepare these tasty treats and soak in the vibrant atmosphere.
Next, we’ll stop at outdoor barbecue stalls to enjoy flame-grilled meat, vegetable, and bread specialties with the locals. For dessert, we’ll visit a small alley to savor fresh fruit with crushed ice and condensed milk—a must-try delicacy!
Our final stop is a hidden street food restaurant where you’ll taste Hanoi’s top ten street foods, including Banh My, Vietnamese Rice Wine, and the famous Egg Coffee. If coffee isn’t your style, a cold beer is also available. After the tour, you’re free to continue exploring, or your guide can help you with directions or a taxi back to your hotel.
