DETAILED ITINERARY:
Sleeping bus Hanoi – Ha Giang
You will be picked up at 20:00 at your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter by a comfortable sleeping bus, which will depart for Ha Giang.
Day 1: Ha Giang – Yen Minh – Heaven Gate – Tam Son – Tham Ma pass – H’mong King palace – Dong Van (B,L,D)
Ha Giang Open Air Jeep Team will pick you up from your hotel or hostel in Ha Giang, or any preferred meeting point or bus station for the tour. We’ll venture into the mountains near Tam Son, offering stunning scenery. Along the way, we’ll cross Bac Sum Pass and reach Heaven Gate to enjoy the twin mountains’ view.
After a delicious lunch in Yen Minh, we’ll continue our journey to Dong Van, passing through picturesque Chin Khoanh pass. Witness the beauty of Dong Van Karst Plateau, with its rice fields and limestone rocks. You can observe hill-tribe villages and visit Hmong King’s Palace before ending the day in Dong Van with a satisfying dinner. Rest up for another exciting day ahead!
Day 2: Dong Van Town – Ma Pi Leng Pass – See over view Nho Que river- Meo Vac Town – M Road – Mau Due Valley – Du Gia Village (B,L,D)
After a delicious breakfast in Dong Van Town, our open air Jeep Tour will take you to the most beautiful part of the journey – Ma Pi Leng Pass. Known for its craggy cliffs and breathtaking views, it’s often called the “king” of passes in Vietnam.
We’ll ride down the Sky Path for stunning panoramas of the valley and Nho Que river. Afterward, we’ll explore remote villages like Lung Ho, Mau Due, and Meo Vac, pausing for a tasty lunch. Our adventure continues through the mountainous trail roads to reach Du Gia Village, where we’ll stay at a homestay with a Tay Minority Family, enjoying dinner and immersion in their culture.
Day 3: Du Gia – Duong Thuong Village -Terrace paddies Valley – Bac Me Nationa road – Ha Giang City – Hanoi (B,L)
After enjoying a delightful breakfast and bidding farewell to our homestay host, we’ll hop on our open-air Jeep to continue our journey. On this last day, you’ll still be amazed by the beauty of nature and landscapes. Our route will lead us back to Ha Giang, but the attractions won’t cease! In about two hours, we’ll reach the famous Valley, offering stunning views of rice paddy terraces. As we cross Nam Cang Village, you’ll be mesmerized by its breathtaking landscape, often compared to fairy’s breasts! Passing through the Sky Gate, we’ll return to Bac Me national road after an adventurous ride.
Finally, in the afternoon, we’ll arrive back in Ha Giang, allowing you enough time to catch a bus or limousine back to Hanoi. Depending on your preferences and schedule, you can choose a night bus or an afternoon limousine. It’s all up to you to decide what to do next after our unforgettable tour!
