DETAILED ITINERARY:
Day 1 – Hanoi – Lang Son – Dong Khe – Quang Hoa – Ban Gioc Waterfall
Begin your journey with a pick-up in a luxurious Open Air Jeep, between 6:20 and 6:40, from your hotel in Hanoi. Depart towards Ban Gioc Waterfall, a stunning natural wonder straddling the Vietnam-China border, renowned as one of Vietnam’s most picturesque waterfalls and ranked among the world’s top 10.
Our limousine will depart from Hanoi’s old quarter, traveling via the scenic highway through Hanoi – Lang Son, offering views of beautiful rural villages and limestone mountains. Passing through Lang Son province, we’ll make several stops at viewpoints for you to relax, take photos, and enjoy the countryside’s charm, including rice paddies and quaint villages.
Continuing through the Dong Khe district of Cao Bang Province along the national highway near the China border, we’ll pause to visit a local village, providing insight into rural life and expansive sugarcane farms. Arriving in Quang An town around 12:45 – 13:00, we’ll enjoy lunch.
After lunch, we’ll proceed to Ban Gioc Waterfall. Before reaching the waterfall, we’ll visit the traditional Khuoi Ky village, known for its stone houses, just 2 km away. Here, you can relax and check into your accommodation before heading to the waterfall itself.
En route to the waterfall, marvel at the proximity to China’s border. As the waterfall comes into view, its breathtaking beauty in the valley will captivate you. Upon arrival, explore the waterfall area, where you can take a sampan boat ride close to the falls for a unique perspective.
Spend approximately an hour enjoying the waterfall before returning to our homestay. You’ll have free time to stroll around the village, relax, enjoy dinner, and perhaps join a “happy water” party at our homestay.
Day 2 – Khuoi Ky – Nguom Ngao Cave – Visit Ban Gioc Pagoda – Lunch in Ha Quang – Return to Hanoi
Start your day with breakfast at 7:30 am, followed by checking out and gathering your belongings for our Open Air Jeep.

By 9:45 am, after exploring the cave, we’ll continue to Ban Gioc Pagoda, hiking up 300 steps for panoramic views of Ban Gioc Waterfall and the surrounding landscape, offering insights into the area’s history.
At 11:00 am, we’ll return to our limousine and begin our journey back to Hanoi. Along the way, we’ll stop at various scenic spots and villages for photo opportunities and short visits.
Around 12:30 pm, we’ll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing our drive back to Hanoi via the China border national highway through Lang Son, eventually reaching the highway back to Hanoi.
