DETAILED ITINERARY:
Day 1: Arrival in Ha Noi
Upon arrival at Hanoi airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide and transferred to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and recover from your flight. Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (B, L)
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up at the hotel to start a full day city tour. First, visit the Museum of Ethnology where you will learn about the diverse cultures and customs of the 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam. Next, continue to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university and a symbol of Confucianism in the country. For lunch, enjoy some delicious Vietnamese cuisine at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, explore the Train Street, a unique and charming Hanoi attraction, and witness how locals live alongside the railway. Next, visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex and its highlights, including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, and the One Pillar Pagoda. Finally, take a cyclo ride around the Old Quarter, where you will see the hustle and bustle of local life and the fascinating traffic. Return to the hotel for overnight.
Day 3: Ninh Binh (B, L)
After breakfast, depart for Ninh Binh, a beautiful area known for its mysterious landscape of mountains and rivers. The first stop is Mua Cave, where you will climb around 500 steps to enjoy a stunning panoramic view of Tam Coc, the rice fields, and the karst landscape.
After lunch, take a traditional boat trip to visit Tam Coc, often called the “Halong Bay on land,” with its limestone peaks and rice paddy fields. Late afternoon, return to your hotel in Hanoi for overnight.
Day 4: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D)
After breakfast, depart for Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most picturesque destinations in Vietnam. Upon arrival, embark on a cruise and start cruising around the bay to see the amazing karts with different formations and then stop for a walk through a cave.
There will be plenty of time for kayaking, swimming and sunbathing after the cruise anchors at a clean calm sea. Enjoy a wonderful sunset dinner and overnight on the cruise.
Day 5: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Flight to Da Nang – Hoian (B, L)
Wake up early in the morning to enjoy a peaceful and breathtaking view of the bay while having breakfast. After that, the cruise will take you further to discover the hidden beauty of the bay.
Later, back to the harbor and take a flight from Hanoi to Da Nang (1.15 hour). Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel in Hoi An for check-in. Rest of the day is free for you to explore the town or relax on the beach.
Day 6: Hoian Ancient Town (B)
After breakfast, start a walking tour to explore the ancient town of Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit Hoi An’s vibrant market and ancient port to explore the rhythm of local daily life and savour the true color, flavour, and taste of the oriental. In the afternoon, free time to enjoy the beach or explore more of the ancient town on your own.
Day 7: Hoian – Free at Leisure (B)
Today is free for you to relax or participate in some of the optional activities we offer such as Countryside tour, Cycling tour, Sunset cruise, Golden bridge, Cooking class, My Son sanctuary, etc.
Day 8: Hoi An – Da Nang – Flight to Phu Quoc Island (B)
After breakfast, you’ll have some free time to explore Hoi An on your own before being transferred to the airport for a flight to Phu Quoc Island (1.30 hour). Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for you to relax or explore the island on your own. Overnight in Phu Quoc Island.
Day 9: Phu Quoc Island – Boat Trip (B, L)
Today, you’ll take a boat trip to some of the most beautiful spots around the island. You’ll visit Buom island for swimming and snorkelling, cruise to Gam Ghi island coral reef sites to explore underwater sea life and corals, and anchor at the lively and popular May Rut Trong island for beach activities. After the boat trip, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel. Overnight in Phu Quoc Island.
Day 10: Phu Quoc Island – Free at Leisure (B)
Today is free for you to explore the island on your own. You could visit some of the local attractions, relax on the beach or go snorkelling. Overnight in Phu Quoc Island.
Day 11: Phu Quoc Island – Flight to Ho Chi Minh City (B)
After breakfast, you’ll have some free time before being transferred to the airport for a flight to Ho Chi Minh City (1.15 hour). Upon arrival, you’ll be picked up at the airport and transferred to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city on your own. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 12: Ho Chi Minh City Departure (B)
Depending on your departure time, you’ll have some free time to relax or further explore the city on your own before being transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
Note: You could also consider adding a city tour of Ho Chi Minh City on Day 11 if you prefer to explore the city with a guide.
