DETAILED ITINERARY:

Day 1: Hanoi – Ha Giang (L,D)

You will be picked up from your hotel in Hanoi and driven to Ha Giang, a mountainous region in northern Vietnam. Along the way, you will experience a scenic drive through the countryside, with picturesque views of rice paddies and local villages. In Tuyen Quang, you will stop for a local-style lunch before continuing on to Hoang Su Phi. Upon arrival, you will check in to your lodge accommodation and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2: Nam Hong – Giang Ha – Giang Thuong – Phin Ho (16km, 6-hour trekking) (B,L,D

After breakfast, you will begin your 16km trek to the local hill tribe village of Phin Ho, famous for its special herbal teas. Along the way, you will pass through lush valleys, remote villages, and hill tribes, learning about their unique cultures and customs. You will stop for lunch at a Red Dao hill-tribe village in Giang Ha, where you will have the opportunity to interact with the locals and gain a deeper understanding of their way of life. You will then continue on to Phin Ho, where you will stay overnight at a homestay in the village.

Day 3: Phin Ho – Hoang Su Phi (9 km, 3-hour trekking) (B,L,D)

After breakfast, you will begin your trek back towards Hoang Su Phi and the Pan Hou Lodge, passing through Black Tay hill tribe villages. The scenery along the way is breathtaking, with panoramic views of the terraced rice fields and the surrounding mountains. Upon arrival at the lodge, you will have lunch and the rest of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure. In the evening, you will have dinner at a local restaurant before retiring for the night at the Pan Hou Lodge.

Day 4: Hoang Su Phi – Hanoi (B,L)

After breakfast at the lodge, you will begin your return journey to Hanoi. On the way, you will stop for lunch at a local restaurant and have the opportunity to taste some of Vietnam’s delicious cuisine. You will arrive back in Hanoi in the late afternoon, where your trekking tour will come to an end.
